Dark Sunglasses

Dark Sunglasses
Dark sunglasses and rum
I thought I needed them
The rain was about to come
Blues and darkness at helm

Some tried, and then slumped
Blames, flames and strums
Thoughts strained on which it strung
Then, like smoke they plumed

The days of swinging over
Relentless was the makeover
Compatibility under cover
Those days I thought I lost all my power

And the sky went red
Like the amber, I read
The rain, always my friend
Stayed away at the end

There's always a clear sky
Which brings on warm smiles
Taking away the cold cries
Of the clouds, making life dry

Rainy NIght

That night, it rained heavily
Sat down on those steps peacefully
The wind blowed strong
Lightning too came along

Scary soul, pulled the limbs
Nostalgia, I did sink
And wet hair on the face
I looked on, it amazed

The so called devilish thoughts
The silliness and sprouts
Then the story of sweet apple
The effect is gonna ripple

The night, never ending
Sleep gone, thoughts were in
Why this distance, why this way
Head was breaking whole day

Never gonna get over this
Never want to, pretty please
That night, the most enchanting
Casting a spell, holding me in.

Whirlpool

Whirlpool

Wished for a shining star
Right now it's so stark
Which's pulling me into a whirlpool
And quickly tightening it's noose

Mind has it's crazy ways
As a wild horse, it strays
No stops, come what may
Short path to the grey

One slip and I fell
Twice, yes, I can tell
A life getting to jilt
Seems your heart wont melt

The wait seems endless
What else to confess
Words could save less
Nor the pleads, feels obsessed

It's all smoke and no fire
It's clouded and I'm tired
The whirlpool's downward drive
The place I choose to retire
